The Obama Health Care bill that was just past will not increase the quality of medical care. All it does is increase tens of millions of more people into a system that is already short of nurses and a dwindling number of Physicians who are reaching retirement age or have decide they do not want some government employee telling them how to practice and are planning to leave medical practice.

What this and every other scheme Obama and his sycophants plan for US isFOR add thousands of government workers to the federal payroll and further bloat the retirement load that taxpayers like you will have to pay in twenty or thirty years

The following is an excerpt from an article published in the London Telegraph by a doctor who has experienced the National Health Service in Great Britain for the past 30 years.

He notes that the nurse population is being cut by thousands to reduce the monies paid out by NHS to pay for the salaries and retirement of the 1,5 million government workers that “administer”the NHS. This plus the fact that the NHS has reduced the hours from 30,000 to 6000 for the training of specialty doctors has led to a cadre of limited educated physicians who do not know anything but the particular specialty that they studied. This has resulted in more consultations with other specialists and a log jam in the referral process. His conclusions are worth any one who is a “young” voter, as it will happen in this country within 20-30 years if this Obama machine is not stopped!

Young voters have a vital role in determining policy at this election. Whereas older voters, employed or often not, will vote for a “free” health service and continuing pensions, the demographic reality is that none of this money is stacked up in a bank account. It will only come from increased taxation on the declining percentage of working, i.e. economically active, people and will directly impinge on education costs and therefore education standards in the next 25 years.

Politicians cannot continue to be economical with the truth. We treat all-comers, from malnourished infants of economic migrants to octogenarians seeking care at the end of a long hard life. We do our best, and we need a rapid clear-out of the non-essential bureaucracy which is slowing patient care and diverting funds needed for the care and cure of sick citizen".

The Obama administration is using the disaster in the Gulf as an excuse to bow to his eco-freak supporters and reverse his “decision” to allow off shore drilling in the Atlantic ocean for crude oil.

The latest estimate of 5,000 gallons of crude oil being leaked into the Gulf waters is truly a disaster of unknown proportions, but it is no excuse to allow the Chinese Communists and the Brazilians to fatten their oil reserves in the gulf at our expense.

Whether we like it or not. It is a fact the millions of trucks travel the highways daily to deliver the foods and supplies we rely on to live our lives, and tanks and fighter jets cannot run on batteries or wind power if they are to be effective in battle against our enemies. And there are many reasons why the Obama administration is wrong to turn to green jobs and ignore the oil we have off the shores of both oceans and the gulf not to mention the millions of barrels that are lying under the surface of the lands in the form of oil-sands located in the western states of our Nation.

While we a trying to build an oil free energy grid for America, which I personally think is a pipe dream unless we start building nuclear power plants as they have in European countries like France. The Chinese and the Brazilians are drilling today offshore of Cuba to extract crude oil from the same Gulf of Mexico, and I do not think they give a damn about oil spills!

China is rapidly becoming a super power that is not only drilling in the Gulf, but also in many African countries where they have made deals with the money they generated while they were becoming the largest source of Americans products that are made over seas that once were made in America.

At the same time that China is drilling for oil in the Gulf. The China Petrochemical (aka SINOPEC) has made a 4.65 billion dollar deal with ConocoPhillips for a large stake in the oil-sands producer Syncrude Canada.

China is the fastest growing economy in the world. and they are not hamstrung by America’s new religion,the Ecology Movement. China is on a Global quest for resources to power their economy.While we here in America are letting Obama and his merry band of communists and socialists lead us down the path to economic ruin!

China plowed 32 billion dollars into mining and energy acquisitions last year. Most of the investment was made by PetroChina! We invest in windmills and act like Don Quixote in a fight against those who should be our mortal enemies China and Russia who are energy free of OPEC!

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is warning that some of his Democratic colleagues are being threatened with violence when they go back to their districts — and he wants Republicans to stand up and condemn the threats.

And South Carolina Congressman in an attempt to defuse the anger that the public has for what the Democrats did last Sunday to the American people, had this to say about the alleged treats. “The majority whip, said Democrats and Republicans should continue to speak out on these threats. “Silence gives consent,”

Hoyer did not bother tp mention that over the years Republican members of Congress received their fair share of death threats during volatile times. Newt Gingrich after the 1994 Republican revolution and the late Henry Hyde during the Clinton impeachment in 1998 both received numerous death threats. And just last month, Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) received death threats after his filibuster of unemployment benefits, according to a report in Roll Call. Not to mention the President Reagan shooting in an attempted assassination and the attempted assassination of President Ford in 1975 in Sacramento, Ca. by “squeaky” Frome in 1975, and the attempt to kill him in San Francisco seventeen days later by Sara Jean Moore outside the St. Francis Hotel. Frome never fired her gun ,but Moore got one shot off and wounded a taxi driver near by Ford!

Perhaps Mr. Hoyer should remind their leader-in-chief, to tone down his rhetoric when he gives speeches demonizing the Health Insurance Industry.

Obama has used the “give ‘em somebody to hate” tactic against the insurance industry. Outrageously displaying behavior unbecoming to the office of the presidency, Mr. Obama, with no holds barred, attempted to make the American people hate, and seek political vengeance against, the insurance industry.

After masterfully portraying them as cruel monsters who only care about profits, President Obama basically said, let’s drag those no good S.O.B insurance companies out and stop them by passing government-run health care. And yes, Obama’s ultimate goal is to drive insurance companies out of business. In an earlier speech, Obama admitted it, while warning that it may take ten years or more to get it done!

Michael Walsh has a piece in Big Journalism.com that mirrors my suspicions about Mr. Hoyers statements. After all the politician in Washington are not above lying to advance their agenda, so this quote from Mr. Walsh is appropriate to finish my blog today.

We have listened to the Liar in chief try to convince a gullible American public that the government has to take over one sixth of rhe USA economy to “fix” a health care system that 80% of Americans who have health care coverage, like the system they have. This is the equivalent of the total economy of a country like France or Germany! It is a naked power grab that progressive leftists are attempting to ram down Americans throats despite the fact that a majority of US do not want what the Obama sycophants are pushing!

Obama has spent more time on this power grab then he has to fix the number one problem in the USA, unemployment and a growing National debt! Today once again he is using an anecdotal story to try to tug at peoples heart instead of talking about the facts that this bill is not acceptable to all the Democrats or else they would have passed it months ago. He continually demonizing the Republicans as the party of no, but anyone who watched the Blair House “summit” know this is just another lie that Obama has been spinning for over a year.

The Republicans have offered alternative to the Democrats socialization of a major portion of our economy, but all suggestions have been rejected.

It is time to call for a vote in the House of Representatives, and stop the arm twisting and deals that the Democrats have been doing to convince the Democrats who believe this bill is bad for the past year! I call on the Republicans to call for a vote now, not after the president has given “one last speech” to try to sell his socialization of the best medical care in the world!
